I love any and all things that have to do with Vampires! So it’s no surprise that I fell in love with these Vampire Blood Strawberry Floats that Nicole made as soon as I saw them! Plus, I love strawberry too!

Sometimes Halloween can still feel like summertime outside and that’s when you need a cold Halloween themed drink to cool you down. That’s where this Vampire Blood Strawberry Float comes in. It’s easy to make, taste like strawberry heaven but it’s got a bit of a bloody wicked side too.

You can grab fake pairs of vampire teeth like the ones pictures almost anywhere around Halloween time. I’ve seen them at the Dollar Tree, Target and a few other stores. Or you if you like to shop online I know that you can order white vampire teeth from Amazon!

So don’t let a little left over summer heat keep you from getting into the Halloween spirit! Grab a glass and mix up a homemade Vampire Ice Cream Float for you and all of your batty friends! I know they’ll probably love them too!

Sometimes I feel like little ones get left out of the planning when it comes to drinks for a party, especially fun and exciting drinks that you might make for a Halloween party.  All of the bells and whistles come out for cocktails for Halloween but what about the kids? Normally it’s just water, juice or soda….right?

I’ve seen Creepy Eyeball Martinis and Liquid Ghost Halloween Cocktails but drink options for kids at parties sometimes seems a little flat. That is until these Little Monster Halloween Mocktails showed up!

These Halloween mocktails are creepy and spooky looking just like adult Halloween themed drinks but they’re made for kids! Plus, these Halloween kid drinks are topped with gummy eyeballs and zombie hands for a extra creepy Halloween touch!

Meaghan actually shared two Halloween mocktails on her blog in the post, one is a Vampire’s Delight and one is called Zombie Juice! Which one do you think your kids would like the most?

I’ve hosted quite a few online events like this ( #SummerDessertWeek & #EasterSweetsWeek ) but I think #HalloweenTreatsWeek is the BEST because….well…because it’s Halloween themed! Y’all know how much I love Halloween. I even started a Halloween blog just for Halloween recipes!

Not only am I crazy for Halloween but I also love Hot Chocolate.  In the past, I’ve combined these two loves to create my famous Melting Witch Hot Chocolate and the creepy tasty Vampire Hot Chocolate recipe.

Now for #HalloweenTreatsWeek I’ve got a new Halloween Hot Chocolate recipe for y’all.

Melting Ghost Hot Chocolate! This Halloween hot chocolate is a just a simple homemade white chocolate hot chocolate with mini marshmallow ghosts!

When I was first working on my ideas for this Melting Ghost Hot Chocolate I thought of using storebought marshmallow ghosts or maybe chocolate ghosts.

Then I thought that simple marshmallow ghost would be best because I wanted this to be a delicious but easy to toss together Halloween drink. So homemade white hot chocolate and easy mini ghost marshmallows made the cut!

After I made this Melting Ghost Hot Chocolate and photographed it, I did something that no blogger should do. I searched for “Ghost Marshmallows” to see what other people have used for ghost marshmallows in Halloween desserts so that I could make some suggestions in my post on what else y’all could use for ghost in this Melting Ghost Hot Chocolate.

That’s when I saw it. Halloween hot chocolate from Family Fresh Meals….her hot chocolate was just regular hot chocolate but it has the same little marshmallow ghost and my heart cried a little.  So even though I hadn’t seen hers before I made mine, my blogger heart wouldn’t feel right if I didn’t link to her since she did make those cute little mini marshmallow ghosts years ago.

I’ve got a recipe below for the homemade whipped cream that I use for my hot chocolate recipes.

These little mini ghosts are great just floating around in the homemade white hot chocolate or on top of homemade whipped cream.

Also, if you wanted to change it up you can make the faces on big marshmallows with an edible marker too!  I think I like the mini marshmallow ghosts the best but the big ones are pretty neat too.

Ok, well we’re not really making Whiskey at home haha but we are going to turn that bottle of whiskey into a bottle of homemade cinnamon whiskey by adding two little ingredients.

I know you’ve probably heard the “Love Potion #9” song right? Well this is my Halloween version of Love Potion #9. 😉

Let’s get right into this!

First you’re going to need a whiskey! I picked Jack Daniels for this but go ahead and pick your favorite.

Then you’re going to need a large container, red hot candies, and cinnamon sticks.

Follow the recipe before, wait for a couple of days, shaking every once in a while.

After a few days you’ll have your very own cinnamon whiskey! Now after a few days, give it a try and decide if it’s done or if you want to keep letting it sit with the candy and cinnamon sticks.

If you think it’s ready, just pour the whiskey into another container and throw away any remaining candy and the cinnamon sticks.

I normally keep my Jack Daniels bottle and just pour the cinnamon whiskey back into that bottle when I’m ready.

So of course you can just take shots but I found these little test tubes at Target and thought they would be perfect for this love potion!

Having an adult Halloween Party? How cute would these be at the party! Love it!

Or if you’re not into making your own cinnamon whiskey, you could always just buy fire ball and pour it into the test tubes for a Halloween party favor!

Love Potion #9 – DIY Cinnamon Whiskey

Love Potion #9 - DIY Cinnamon Whiskey

Yield: 750 ML OF CINNAMON WHISKEY

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Additional Time: 3 days

Total Time: 3 days 5 minutes

It's going to take just a few days of sitting in the fridge but with 3 ingredients you can brew up your very own Love Potion #9 - DIY Cinnamon Whiskey at home!

Ingredients

• 750 millilitres Whiskey (I used Jack Daniels) ( a fifth of whiskey)
• 1/4 or 1/2 cup red hot candies
• 3 whole cinnamon sticks

Instructions

Pour the whiskey into a glass jar with a lid.

Add candies and cinnamon sticks. Close jar and shake.

Place into fridge for 4-6 days**. Shaking once or twice a day.

Check taste.

Pour whiskey in another bottle and throw away candy and cinnamon sticks.

**leave in fridge longer for a stronger flavor.

Do you ever come across one of those recipes that just seems to be popular with everyone? Well for us, this punch is that recipe! We make this for almost every party and it’s always a hit.

I started making it years ago for baby showers, then we started making it for Thanksgiving and now it makes an appearance everywhere.

Most recently we served it at my brother and sister in law’s wedding shower. We actually ran out towards the end of the shower because people were going crazy over it. Now you know it’s something good if you can’t keep it refilled! Well technically we made orange punch for their wedding shower but it is pretty much the same thing.

With it being so popular, I’m adding it to another holiday this year! We’re going to introduce it on Halloween as Witches Brew! All the little witches and goblins of the night will fall head over broomstick for this punch this year!

Make a huge punch bowl or make individual punch glasses!

For the punch bowl, just follow the recipe below.

For glasses of Witches Brew, just scoop some of the softened lime sherbet into glasses and pour in the lemon-lime soda until the glass it full.  Then stir, stir and stir some more until the sherbet melts.

However, I don’t know anyone that can stop after one glass of this punch so you might as well just make the whole batch!

This punch is always a favorite at parties and we make it almost every time we have a gathering! Everyone goes back for more! Now it's time to bring this Witches Brew to the table and get ready for Halloween! Grab a glass and let's go!

• 1 quart Lime Sherbet, softened
• 2 liters lemon lime soda

Instructions

Scoop Lime Sherbet into a punch bowl.

If you’re having a Halloween party or even a Halloween themed dinner, you’re going to need something to drink. This Blood Red Punch is great, not only because it looks great for a Halloween party but it’s fantastic because it can be made kid-friendly or it can be turned into an adult cocktail!

If you want the spider ice cubed, make sure that you plan a bit ahead of time so you have time to freeze some little plastic spiders into ice cubes!

It almost makes me think of a toxic slime drink with the bright neon green color but I love that Colleen named it the “Poison Frog”. I think that’s a perfect name for it. Who doesn’t need a “poison” to serve up to their guests? haha

I’m also loving the fact that this Poison Frog cocktail shot is made with a homemade Green Apple Simple Syrup! It’s pretty easy to make and Colleen says that you can make it in advance and keep it in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to a week. That way it’s super easy to whip up these Halloween drinks when it’s time to party!

I can’t believe that I waited so long to share this Melting Witch Hot Chocolate recipe with y’all!

This Halloween recipe is one of the very first ones I made this season! For some reason, it’s just been pushed back to the corner! How rude of me. 

This Melting Witch Hot Chocolate would be just perfect served alongside these Melting Witch Brownies!

They’re my little nod to the melting witch from The Wizard of Oz!

While the Wizard of Oz isn’t really a Halloween movie, I like to toss the melting witch into my Halloween recipes and post because you know……she’s a witch.

Witches and Halloween do go hand in hand you know.

So you know how people like to drink hot chocolate while they’re decorating for Christmas with Christmas carols playing in the background?

Well, that’s kind of how I am when it comes to Halloween. haha.

I pull all of my Halloween decorations out and set up Bluetooth speakers for music while I decorate.

I play Halloween music and the soundtrack to “The Nightmare Before Christmas” while I’m decorating the house. haha

Is it bad that I put up the decorations this year already?

Not only did I put them up early but I put them up and then thought, “This isn’t Halloweeny enough, I need more stuff”…..yeah the apartment is COVERED in Halloween stuff already.

I don’t think I really need more. lol

But anyways, now I have a sweet little Halloween hot chocolate to sip on while I decorate!

I think this would get everyone into the Halloween spirit!
