Witches have always been one of my favorite parts of Halloween!
I loved dressing up as a witch many times when I was growing up when we went trick or treating and I love making witch-themed desserts for parties and the blog.

When I saw these witch cupcakes over on Miranda’s blog, I knew that they would be a great addition to The Southern Halloween Queen collection of Halloween treats!
Also look at those cute witch hats! I have made witch hats similar to those before for things like my favorite Melting Witch Hot Chocolate and my Melting Witch Brownies!
I just love them with the green on Miranda’s green witch cupcakes! These witch cupcakes kind of remind me of the witch from The Wizard of Oz! Not only do they have the black and green witch hat on top but they have a bit of “melting witch slime” on the tops of the cupcakes too!
I LOVE melting witch desserts, y’all! I think they are awesome.
