Looking for a fun Halloween appetizer that’s not packed with sugar? These Tomato and Mozzarella Eyeball Skewers are a spooky, savory twist made with cherry tomatoes, marinated mozzarella balls, and black olives. Fresh, easy, and frightfully festive!

Ingredients

• 36 cherry tomatoes
• 24 marinated mozzarella balls (with seasoned oil)
• 24 slices of black olives
• 12 wooden skewers

Instructions

1. Thread three cherry tomatoes and two mozzarella balls onto each skewer, alternating as you go, starting with a tomato.
2. Lay all the skewers out on a serving platter.
3. Press one sliced black olive onto each mozzarella ball to make your “eyeballs.”
4. Drizzle a little of the flavorful oil from the marinated mozzarella over the top before serving.

Notes

Serve slightly chilled or at room temperature for the best flavor.

I’m totally loving these savory Meatball Mummies! I know there have been a ton of hot dog mummies around the Internet but these are made with meatballs and I love them!

Meatball Mummies are the types of recipes that I love to make for parties. Of course, I like making super fancy and 100% from scratch recipes sometimes but I LOVE making recipes that use shortcuts like the frozen meatballs that Holly used to make these!

Sometimes us busy moms just need something that’s awesome without having to spend hours in the kitchen!

Shortcuts like the frozen meatballs mean that we have more time to spend with the family and I’m 100% for that!

When it comes to Halloween I’m normally a “sweets and desserts” all the way kind of Halloween lover but something about this Eyeball Pasta has me wanting to make an entire Halloween dinner menu of Savory Halloween Foods!

Holly made some super spooky savory eyeballs for this Halloween pasta and the green noodles are perfect!

The green noodles kind of look like alien tentacles to me!

Whatcha think? Between those green alien monster arms and the creepy eyeballs, any Halloween party would be lucky to have this Eyeball Pasta served as the main course!

While I’m pretty great at making sweet candy eyeballs for Halloween desserts, I was super excited to see how Holly created these cheesy eyeballs for pasta!
